Two defects in the measure of intelligence

  1. Equating intelligence with mere analytical intelligence. Not including an equally weighted emotional intelligence.
  2. Not testing analytical intelligence properly. The IQ test does not try to trip up logical thinking by introducing emotionally attractive snares. This is the real test of analytical intelligence – not buying into illogical or unscientific arguments that have a real emotional appeal.
