Another form of illogic

Legal logic.

Consider patent law. Anyone who studies it at all realizes that novelty and non-obviousness are the most important legal hurdles to jump in getting patent protection.

Yet patent law is a species of law and what do we know about law? Precedents always take precedence.

So this means that once a non-obvious technology is patented, me-too patents, that lack novelty and are absolutely flat out obvious are allowed because of legal precedence.

Totally illogical – so like man, a being with a perverted logical faculty. So illogical by nature is man that a substantial number of us end up in psychiatric care and nearly all of us should be put back into remedial logical training in mathematics to develop this grossly underdeveloped logical faculty.
