Logical consequences of taurine deficiency

Aside from the obvious consequences of floppy proteins overproducing free radicals and in general of floppy proteins whose structures (especially important when the structure is mutant) have not been properly stabilized and which are thus not functioning correctly, taurine deficiency specifically in liver producing bile cells could lead to poorer absorption of all fats and fat soluble substances – it could lead to measurable deficiencies of essential fats, conditionally essential fats, the four fat soluble vitamins, fat soluble conditionally essential nutrients, and all other valuable fat soluble co-nutrients.

Better not become taurine deficient.

Not to worry – our government does not recognize taurine as essential. Not essential, how about CRITICAL?
