An esemplastic view of the world

From Dictionary.com: esemplastic – adjective
1. having the ability to shape diverse elements or concepts into a unified whole: the esemplastic power of a great mind to simplify the difficult.

An esemplastic view of the world is what we look for from religion and philosophy – and both disappoint, the former more than the latter.

Someday science will give us an esemplastic view of the world based on fitting copious quantities of scientific data into a single coherent model, if the world allows such, and I think that it does, because after all, probability and statistics has discovered laws even in pure random chance.
