Wheat flour supports the growth of insects, but it has a short shelf life.
White flour does not support the growth of insects and it has a long shelf life, and because it does not nourish insects, it is not nourishing us. White flour is a waste of calories, and the American people consume lots of white flour calories, almost all of which also has added pure granulated sugar, another even greater nutritional zero.
Our FDA has really failed to protect our health in allowing companies to sell white flour and white sugar.
What we want is a flour that supports the growth and reproduction of insects, but has a long shelf life. This is a worthwhile research project, pure and simple. Let’s do it!
