Religious statements are filled with paradoxes and consequently religious apologists resort to casuistry.
Real truths have two characteristics: they are deeply ironic because modern man still has a predilection for believing things against the evidence. Someday real truths will not be deeply ironic because all people will accept the fundamental proposition that what is contradicted by evidence is false. Second, real truths are paradox free. Paradox is an empirical sign of error, always has been and always will be. A truth seeker never stops reasoning until all paradoxes are gone and all of the available data has been fit into a coherent model.
