that the majority of people will one day embrace these four related axioms of sane living:
1. Regardless of the mountain of evidence that once bolstered a proposition, I do not believe in any proposition that is contradicted by evidence.
2. I believe in propositions only to the degree that they are supported by evidence
3. I do not believe in anything absolutely, except that which is true by definition.
4. I am always suspicious when someone tells me what I want to hear.
Today in 2015, only a small minority of people hold these truths to be self-evidential enough to be axioms of rational, sane living.
